White Lotus Casino was one of the South African casinos the old version of betnook.com reviewed. It is not on our Canadian list, and this page explains why and what to look at instead.
Real Time Gaming is a long-established software maker whose games appear at many casinos, so the style of lobby the old page described is not unique to White Lotus.
The old page described White Lotus as a casino built for South African players, with balances in rand, and a lobby running on Real Time Gaming software.
It highlighted RTG's "Real Series" slots, a set of progressive jackpots, and a long tail of speciality games such as keno and bingo, and it said the casino could be played by download, on mobile or instantly in a browser.
That page was written for a different audience, in a different currency, several years ago. We have not re-checked any of it, and we do not repeat the licence, operator or bonus details it gave, because we cannot stand behind them today.
BetNook is now a Canadian guide, and White Lotus has not been through our listing checks: we have not followed a working link to it, confirmed that it accepts Canadian players, or seen its current terms.
There is also a practical sign that the old listing had gone stale. The old BetNook link for White Lotus no longer reached the casino; it simply sent visitors back to our home page. We would rather say that plainly than leave a dead end.
The brands that do pass our checks, all verified on 26 September 2026, are in the ranked list, and the rules they had to meet are set out on the About page.
For White Lotus to be considered, we would need a link that lands on its own site, an operator page that lists Canada, and prices in Canadian dollars rather than rand.
If you have used RTG casinos before and want something similar, look for the software maker named in a site's footer or game windows, and check whether the games show their return figures in the information panel.
If White Lotus appealed because of classic slots and a traditional lobby, these verified brands are the closest fit we list for Canadian players.

We do not know. The old page described a rand-based site for South Africa and did not list Canadian dollars, and we have not checked the casino since.
By the time the old site was retired, its outbound link for White Lotus was sending people to our home page instead of the casino, so we removed it.
None of the brands we list names Real Time Gaming on the public pages we checked. Our partner casinos use the Casino Rewards lobby, and the featured four combine a sportsbook, casino and bingo.
